Aunque denostada y denostado por muchos, la obra y vida de Sylvester Stallone se debería admirar mucho más de lo que en realidad se hace. Cómo decía aquél: «Sabrás cuando aparece un genio en el mundo por que todos los necios del mundo se conjurarán contra él».

Sin llegar a considerar a Stallone un genio, sí que me parece uno de los mejores guionistas del celuloide de las últimas décadas y en muchos casos un ejemplo a admirar. Las frases que han salido de su ingenio son memorables y con un significado muy profundo para todo aquél que sepa ver los árboles y no el bosque. El triple Óscar, mejor película, mejor director y mejor montaje, así lo atestigua.

Eso sí, todo escrito por el que es hijo de un peluquero italiano y una astróloga francesa. Por el que aunque un forceps le trajo a la vida también le lesionó un nervio en su cabeza que le produjo la parálisis facial y caída del labio inferior que le caracteriza y que algunos, muchos, aprovechan para reírse de ello sin molestarse en saber de dónde viene.

 

 

Dejando de lado la magnífica película que supone Rocky, os dejo algunas frases de sus guiones para que juzguéis:

Y la moraleja de toda la historia es que hay dos formas de adquirir conocimientos, de los que te enseñan y de los que tú aprendes. Siendo estos últimos los de mayor esfuerzo pero también los de mayor valía. Si eres capaz de ver lo que la mayoría no ve, sin duda, estarás en clara ventaja.
